Question: How do I create an overlay which shows up when a user selects a tile?

Answer: Add an overlay at the lowest level, Nodes, and select from the dropdown menu Show overly on select ‘On Selection’

- Goto Edit View;
- Select the ‘Nodes’ level, and select the Overlay tab;
- Add a text overlay via ‘Add’;
- Set ‘Show overlay on’ on “On Selection”;
- Type in a text for the expression, in this case ‘datum’.
An overlay is created which shows up on selection of a tile

Note that other overlay types can also be used in this combination.
