EGTM (European Group on Tumour Markers) is a research group which focuses on Tumour Marker research. Dr. Marius Nap, active board member of EGTM, already uses MagnaView to analyze data in the area of Clinical Pathology. Nap took the initiative for a true ‘workshop’ where representatives of institutions active in the EGTM field met to work hands-on with data from their labs in MagnaView. In the workshop, representatives of the following organizations met Atrium Medical Center, Hebrew University Medical Center, Beckman Coulter Eurocentre, Netherlands Cancer Institute, and Philips Healthcare Incubator.

The aim of the workshop was to get acquainted with the use of the MagnaView-tooling on one hand. On the other hand, the workshop led to more understanding about common representation of the underlying data. In the near future, this will lead to more possibilities to exchange data on this subject, and to further clinical developments in this field.
