The European Institute for Oncology has selected MagnaView Designer for data analysis

Bicon3, MagnaView reseller for Italy, proposed MagnaView’s solutions after a thorough comparison of data visualization tools, in particular, tools that are used widely to create treemap visualizations.
Dr. Silvia Fraschetti of Bicon3 is the responsible account manager.‘The European Institute for Oncology (IEO, Milano, Italy) asked Bicon3 to look for a data visualization tool that could help the management spot the hidden phenomenon in their clinical and financial data and synthesize, present and share results within the organization.  In the Planning & Controlling area, Dr. Alfonso Lo Russo, Controller at EIO, needed a tool that could help them see where they could improve the use of clinical and medical infrastructures (e.g. operating rooms) in order to minimize patient waiting lists . The criteria we started with were < the power of analysis based on graphical representation of multiple data source, the ease of use and implementation together with the scalability of the solution.
Eventually, we made an in-depth comparison of three tools on the shortlist. Bicon3 as well as EIO were impressed by the <broad set of graphical visualization techniques and how MagnaView could help the management isolate the exact information being sought to take timely end effective decisions>.
Therefore, EIO selected MagnaView.‘
Erik-Jan van der Linden, MagnaViews CEO, ‘EIO selecting MagnaView is important for two reasons. Firstly, it shows us how valuable our relation with Bicon3 is. Secondly, it’s another step in the health care market. We’ve recently seen hospital applications in clinical chemistry, microbiology, pathology, care paths and cure-care logistics. EIO using MagnaView is a further recognition of the use MagnaView can have for health care.’
