MagnaView develops ‘data-intensive’ portals and systems. For system development, MagnaView can use a wide variety of development platforms including PHP, ASP, Ajax and Delphi.  Examples are the following: ZportDrive.com is a web-based system serving as a platform for athletes and their coaches to communicate. ZportDrive.com is all about achievements of athletes, their training schedules, and conditions, and is therefore a data-intensive system. MagnaView Web Live is an integral part of ZportDrive.com, showing the achievements of athletes. But MagnaView also fully developed ZportDrive.com using PHP and Ajax, and MySQL as database management system. For PGNPO MagnaView developed a module to help plan the implementation of the nation-wide introduction of communication between schools involved in primary education and a governmental institution. MagnaView Designer and MagnaView Viewer are used to monitor the complete project; MagnaView also developed the planning module. For PGNPO-planning, Delphi was used in conjunction with SQL-server. Data-modeling Besides development of complete systems, MagnaView can also be involved in data-modeling projects. We have extensive experience in modeling data, and setting up data models in various database management systems. Brainport gathers information about economic indicators from a wide variety of national and international sources, and maintains this information in a large database. Brainport uses MagnaView Designer Pro to analyze this data, and MagnaView Web Snapshot to create content for their internet site. Besides, MagnaView was involved in setting up the database where all data is stored, and, took care of data import from the various sources mentioned. |
